(사)해외동포책보내기운동협의회에서 기부받은 책 가운데 일부 (총 800권)를 글렌데일 교육구내 한국어, 영어 이중언어 교육 프로그램이 있는 Mark Keppel 초등학교에 기증하는 행사를 가졌습니다. 한글학교 한국어 교재, 초등 저학년용 동화책, 수와 놀이 교재를 비롯하여 성인용 한국어책을 기증하였습니다. 그 동안 기부 받은 책을 분류, 정리하고 기증하는데 도움을 주신 많은 분들에게 감사의 말씀 드립니다.
Some of the books donated by (사)해외동포책보내기운동협의회 (a total of 800 books) were donated to Mark Keppel Elementary School, which has a Dual Language program in Korean and English in the Glendale School District. We donated Korean language textbooks, children's books for the lower grades, numbers & play textbooks, and Korean books for adults. We are grateful to the many people who volunteered to sort and organize the books to donate.
